Amhara Bank SC invites all interested & qualified insurance companies by this National Competitive\ Bid for the provision of insurance services.

The bank has more than 300 branches operating throughout the country and will expand its branches to increase its market share. As of now, it has employed more than 4,500 permanent staffs.

Therefore, the bank would like to invite an open tender of qualified insurance companies, bidders need to have all these policies, such as motor, property, life. money insurance and related political violence and terrorism risks, and purchase them through an agreement lasting for one (1) year i.e. until June 30, 2026.

1. The bid document shall be obtained commencing June 4, 2025 from Procurement Division, cited at Amhara Bank S.C. Procurement & facility Directorate. Around Leghar, Ras Mekonnen Street, ORDA Tower 20th Floor against payment of a non-refundable fee of Birr 200.00 (Two Hundred Birr Only) during office hours by depositing at Amhara Bank S.C. Addis Ababa Branch Head Office Ground floor during office hours.
2. Bidders must present professional business license. Certificate of registration and other related document.
3. Tenders must be supported with birr 200,000.00 (Two Hundred Thousand Birr) bid Bond (Re-fundable) in shape of CPO or unconditional Bank Guarantee in favor of Amhara Bank S.C.
4. All bids must be deposited in the tender box prepared for this purpose at Procurement Division, cited at Amhara Bank S.C. HO procurement & facility Directorate during office hours on or before June 18, 2025 at 8:00 Local time.
5. Bid opening shall be held in the presence of bidders and/or their legal representative who I wish to attend on June 18, 2025 at 8:30 Local time.
