South West Ethiopia Regional State Transport and Road Development Bureau Invites Eligible Bidders for the Construction of New Road projects & Special structure projects

NOTICE OF INVITATION FOR CONSTRUCTION WORKS

1. The Regional Government of South West Ethiopia represented by Transport and Road Development Bureau, has allocated budget of Rural connectivity for food security program (RCFSP) financed by world bank and region towards the CONSTRUCTION WORKS of New Road projects & Special structure projects intends to apply part of the proceeds to eligible payments.

1. Kaka-mecha Lot -1, 16.54 km road project;
2. Kaka-mecha Lot 2, 9.57 km road project;
3. Koro river 10m Bridge at Kaffa zone, Adiyo woreda.
4. Kubito Baho medaresha alemgena 8.67 km road project;
5. Oppie river 10m Bridge at sheka zone, yeki woreda.
6. Bale-shota 12.37 km road project;
7. Ergum river 6m Slab Culvert at Dawro zone, Essera woreda.
8. Delba-alpha-tolka 12.1 km road project;
9. Tashika river 6m Slab Culvert project at Konta zone, Koysha woreda
10. Kuka-meha Gagali 9.17 km road project
11. Shench river 10m Bridge at Bench sheko zone, sheyi bench woreda.
12. Bachuma kolay 10.96 km road project;
13. Bayou river 12m Bridge project at West omo zone, Macnit Goldiya woreda.
14. The services to be, executed under the contract consist of but are not limited to the Construction of works Contract Administration project of new road and special structure projects.

2. Eligible bidders should fulfill the following requirements or evidences': Bidders shall have a certificate of competency from appropriate Federal or Regional Bureaus for contractor registration with GC-4/RC-4 and below, renewed for at least 2017 EFY: Commercial registration certificate, Trading license renewed for at least 2017 EFY Tax clearance certificate which is valid at least at deadline for submission of bids that permits the bidder to participate in any public tender and Tin and VAT registration certificate. 3. Interested Eligible bidders may purchase a complete set of bidding document on submission of a written application to the address below and up on payment of non-refundable fee of Birr 1000.00 (One thousand birr only). The bid is open for 21 successive calendar days starting from the second date after the 1st notification of this advertisement on the News Paper. The final submission date and opening of the proposal will be on the 22nd date of the announcement on the News Paper at 8:00 and 8:30 afternoon respectively (Local time). If the 22nd date is not working day, it will be held on the next working days at the same time.
4. This invitation of bid is open to all interested potential bidders and the bid evaluation and award shall be determined in accordance with the provision indicated in bidding document.
5. Bid must be accompanied with a Bid Security of an amount of Birr 100,000.00 (One Hundred thousand) in the form of certified cheque (CPO) or Unconditional Bank guarantee.
6. Bids must be delivered or deposited in the Tender Box situated at the office of the Procurement Department, on the closing date and before closing time.

The Bureau reserves the rights to reject any or all bids.
