Ethiopian Catholic Church Social & Development Commission Branch Office of Harar (ECC-SDCBOH) Invites Eligible Bidders for the Procurement of Different Construction Works

Ethiopian Catholic Church Social & Development Commission Branch Office of Harar (ECC-SDCBOH) is an NGO which is registered as Ethiopian Resident Charity Organization. Currently, it runs different Projects in several Woreda and Kebele of East & West Hararghe Zone, and Fentale Woreda of East Showa Zone of Oromia Region State, Gode and Jigjiga Zones of Somali National Regional state, Dire Dawa Administration and Zone 3 of Afar regional state. Now ECC-SDCBOH, fund received from RFSA project planned to Construct different infrastructures in RFSA Woredas (Chinakson, Jarso, Deder,Babile, Midhega Tola, Fedis,& Gursum) in ten Kebeles East Hararghe Zone, Oromia Region state in RFSA project operational areas. So for the implementation of this project ECC-SDCBOH interested to invite experienced contractors or Micro-enterprise to fulfill the following requirements:

1. Eligible bidders who have GC-8, BC-8-, WWC-8 and above license renewed for the current year 2017E.C
2. Bidders who has an experiences construction work of 2 (two) years and above

The bid document obtained from Dire Dawa ECC-SDCBOH office up on non- refundable fee 400 (Four hundred Birr only) for each lot/project/ and collect for 10 (ten) consecutive days. The document can be collected starting from the date of this bid announcement on the newspaper during the official working hours and days.

The bidders can purchase the documents up on presentation of all required legal certificates of registration from concerned government offices and currently renewed license, Tax clearness as well as VAT certificate and TIN number. All bids should be submitted after 10 Consecutive days from announcement on the newspaper starting from 8:30 to 9:30AM and closed at 9:30 AM. Bid will be opened on the same day at 10:00AM at Dire Dawa ECC-SDCBOH office. If the opening day concedes with holiday bid will opens on next working day on the same time. During bid opening bidders should be attend with legal representative and bid will be opened whether bidders representatives will exist or not on stated time and date.

The Bidders shall furnish, as part of its tender, a bid security of 5000 (five thousand) ETB, in the form of bank guarantee or CPO only from banking institution, licensed to do business in Ethiopia and put in technical original document, for each site. The bidders should Summit one original technical &one original financial document and two copies technical & financial documents sealed with wax and signed, after enclosed separately and kept in one post.

The office reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and not obliged to give reason for any decision taken.
