Invitation to Bid

Procurement Reference Number: DEIG /GAEI OT/02/2025

1. FDRE Defence Engineering Industry group invites all interested and eligible bidders by this International Competitive Bid (ICB) for the raw material procurement.
2. Purchase item: - Lot 1 Spare Part and Diamond Ball Hardness Indenter Hrc and Hrc- 3
3. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the open tendering procedures contained in the public procurement proclamation of the Gov't of the FDRE.
4. The bidder shall submit copies of original documents, commercial register, commercial license, tax authority certificate, certificate of registration for value added and manufacture authorization and certificate.
5. A complete and detail set of bidding documents prepared in English can be purchased by interested and qualified bidders at the address below (a) upon payment of a non-refundable fee Birr 500.00 (Five Hundred Birr only). The method of payment will be in cash.
6. The tender document will be sent by any means and have to be delivered to DEIG Supply Chain Management Office or (procurement department) 1St Floor office no 102 or 105 in the bid box available up to the deadline for the bid submission. No liability will be accepted for loss or late delivery of bid documents.
7. Bids must be delivered to the address below at or before 10:00 A.M 02 Jun, 2025 E.C. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of Amount of 2% USD OR in equivalent amount in convertible currency in the form of unconditional bank guarantee or CPO from certified Ethiopian bank.
8. Bids must be submitted in separate envelopes i.e. The (Original Technical Proposal, copy Technical Proposal, Original Financial Offer, copy Financial Offer and Bid Security) and one outer envelope, duly marking the inner envelopes as "ORIGINAL" and "COPIES" document.
9. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders' or legal representatives who choose to attend at the adders below at 10:15 A.M 02 Jun 2025 E.C
10. DEIG has right to reject or accept this bid partially or fully.
11. Address documents will be issued and Address Bids will be delivered to & Opening
