1. The SE Region, Gedeo Zone Water, Mine & Energy Department through Zonal capital budget and UNICEF Fund toward the cost of the water supply and sanitation project and it intends to apply part of funds to cover eligible payments under the Contract for Small Works Contract-Civil Works, Pipes & Fitting Supply and Installation.

 Water Supply Projects (Remaining Work & Finishing), Labaregi Community

Water Supply Projects (Remaining Work & Finishing) and Kore Community

 Water Supply Projects Small Works Contract - Civil Work and Pipes & Fitting, Electromechanical Supply and Installation project.

Bidding will be conducted through a NATIONAL COMPETETIVE BIDDING (NCB) procedure specified in the Millennium Development Goal Guidelines and open to all bidders from eligible source countries as defined in the Guidelines. Bids shall be valid for a period of Sixty (60) days after Bid opening.

3. Bids must be accompanied by bid security of listed above in table for total project cost in the form of Bank guarantee or CPO and shall remain valid for 90 days. Insurance bond is not acceptable.
4. Bidders must obtain registration for (WWC6 and above) and with valid license for the current year.
5. Qualification requirement include: (1) owner ship and/or existing lease of relevant equipment and machinery (2) General & specific experience (3) man power with legal status assured by third legal body (4) Financial Status of the Company (5) Work Schedule as provided in the bidding document with others additional details.
6. A complete set of Bidding Documents may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application and copies of necessary renewed licenses with originals from SE region Gedeo Zone Finance Sector, Dilla City, Telephone number 0463312425/0461310108, upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Birr 400.00.
7. Bids Shall be Submitted after 15th consecutive announcements day, on date 16th at SE Regional Gedeo Zone Finance Department, Dilla City, @LT 4:00 Telephone number 0463312425/ 0461310108; if the bid opening date is lay on the holyday the bid will be open on the next working day. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Last bids will be rejected.
8. We notice that, bidders are invited to submit technical original plus three copies & financial original plus three copies separately enclosed in a wax - sealed envelope to the finance Department.
9. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders/their representatives who choose to attend in person at SEP region Gedeo Zone Finance Department Dilla.@LT 4:30
10. During the arithmetic check if the total project cost of difference above 3% finance and economy sector have the right to reject the bidder.
11. The SE regional Gedeo Zone Finance & Economy Sector reserves the right to reject all /or part of the bid.
12. In bid document during submission/filling cost if there is erase or mark case must approved by sign of bidder. Unless it is not acceptable.
13. Bidders with ongoing or terminated projects within the zone are not are not eligible to participate in this invitation.
14. The bidder shall not be allowed to purchase/participate in more than one lot.
15. The site visit is mandatory. If the bidder fails to submit the site visit letter, the bid will be automatically rejected.
16. The bidder shall give priority for the supply of pump and generator with all accessories listed in the specification for electromechanical installations and must submit commitment letter with technical document to deliver the equipment upon the receipt of advance payment. If the bidder fails to do so, the bid will be rejected automatically.
