1. Stand for Vulnerable Organization (SVO) invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified contractors for the construction of a water supply system (labor cost only) based on hydro-geophysical investigation results at the SVO-30 Hearts Family Development Center (FDC) Project site in Bako Tibe District
2. The bidding document outlines the scope of work, or spring development. 25m³ service reservoir water point and pipe laying. A complete set of Bidding Documents may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application and copies of necessary renewed licenses with originals from SVO Office in Addis Ababa Arada Sub City: Woreda 6: House No. 811 Telephone number 0111261011/0911640224: around 6 Killo Janmeda upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Birr 500 00 (Five hundred).
3. Bids shall be valid for a period of Sixty (60) days after Bid opening
4. Bids must be accompanied by bid security of 30,000.00 Birr in the form of bank guarantee or CPO and shall remain valid for 60 days. Insurance bond is not acceptable.
5. Bidders must obtain registration for category WWC/GC 7 and above with valid license for the current fiscal year
6. Qualification requirement include: 1/ Owner ship and/or existing lease of one Dump truck. 2/ Specific experience of at least one project in water wark construction of similar nature and complexity 3. availability of relevant experienced personnel
7. Bid must be delivered to the SVO Office on the 14 calendar day after the announcement on News Paper on or before 2:30 p.m. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected
8. Bids will be opened at the presence of the bidders/ their representatives who choose to attend in person at 2:30 pm on the 14 calendar day from the date of this announcement on the News Paper. If the 14 day is not working days or the date of National holiday, the bid will be opened on the next working day at the same time and venue.
9. Bidder must provide a complete set of one original & one copy of financial and technical proposal
10. SVO reserves the right to reject all or part of the bid
