1. The Amhara Road Bureau invites all eligible bidders to submit scaled bids for the construction of Chefa - Kichicho DC 3 Road Rehabilitation Project having a length of 18.84 km located in Oromo Administrative Zone of Amhara Region.
2. Interested bidders shall submit the following evidence;

• Certificate of Registration from Ministry of Urban & infrastructure or other appropriate regional Bureaus with: Category GC-4 or RC-4 and above renewed for 2017 EFY
• Trading License renewed for 2017 EFY; and It's Tax Clearance Certificate which states that the bidder is eligible to participate in any public tender and valid at least at the deadline for submission of the bids
• TIN number & VAT Registration Certificate, and
• Registered as supplier in the list of mandated public body,i.e. Public Procurement and property Agency (FPPPAA) or Electronic Government Procurement (e-GP) website, (http

3. Bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding (NCB) procedures and is open to all eligible contractors as specified and defined in the Bidding Document.
4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below on working days. A complete set of bidding document prepared in English language may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of Birr 500.00.
5. Contractors are advised to read & Comply in full with the "Instruction to Bidders and Conduct site visit
6. Bidders shall submit two envelopes "Qualification information and Bid security" in envelop and "Financial bid separately in another envelop (One Original & Two Copies) and should be sealed in an outer envelope
7. Evaluation is to be carried out in two stages, Technical qualification first and financial bids for qualified bidders next.
8. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security in CPO or Unconditional Bank Guarantee of ETB 500,000.00 (ETB: Five Hundred Thousand).
9. Sealed Prequalification & Priced document Bids shall be submitted to Amhara Road Bureau Construction Contract Administration Directorate Room Number 212 Tele 0583-20-67-20 on or before 21st Calendar days from the first advertisement 2:00 PM. The Bid shall be publicly opened at 21 st Calendar day starting from first advertisement date at 2:30 P.M. If the opening date lies on non-working day, it will be shifted to the next working day. Bidders are advised to attend the opening of bids. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of bidders/ bidders representatives who choose to attend at the address below, on the final date and time of bid submission as stated above.
10. The Amhara Road Bureau reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids.
