NOTICE OF INVITATION FOR BID (RE-BID)
- MCG Construction PLC, hereinafter called as “the Main-Contractor,” has entered into a contract agreement with Ethiopian Roads Administration (the Employer) for the Construction Works of Weldehane – Durgi Road Project.
- The Main Contractor wants to invite competent and professional bidders to submit sealed bids for providing the necessary labor, material and equipment for the intended Sub-Contract earth works of the aforementioned project.
- Weldehane – Durgi Road Project is found in South West Ethiopia Peoples’ Regional State and Central Ethiopia Regional State. The Start of the Project Weldhane can be accessed through Addis – Hossaina – Sodo – Tercha – Weldhane Road at 461km from Addis and End of the Project, Durgi can be accessed through Addis – Hossaina – Hadero – Durgi Asphalt Road at 336km from Addis.
- The Bid is open to all eligible bidders and the evaluation will be done as per qualification criteria specified and defined as shown below:

- A complete set of bidding documents prepared in English language may be purchased by interested bidders from the address below at a nonrefundable fee of ETB 200.00 effective as of April 28, 2025. The method of payment shall be in cash.
- Bidders shall submit their Bids in two envelopes, the first envelope labeled as “Technical Bid” and the second envelope “Financial Bid”, separately sealed and the two envelopes sealed in another outer envelope. One Original and Two Copies of the bids have to be submitted.
- The bid must be accompanied by a bid security, in form of CPO or unconditional bank guarantee addressed to MCG Construction PLC, of ETB 300,000.00.
- The Qualification information and Bid Security will be opened immediately after the submission deadline in the presence of bidders’ representatives who choose to attend, at the address below.
- Bids must be delivered to the address below on 14th day of the date of announcement on newspaper at 2:30 P.M local time. If the 14th day is not working day, it will be held on the next working day at the same time.
- Bid must be delivered to the address specified below.
