Procurement of Water Pumps, Motorcycles and Computers

1. The Sidama Regional Disaster Risk Management Commission of the Bureau of Agriculture and Natural Resource Development has received financing from the International Development Association (IDA) and other donor partners toward the cost of the Strengthen Ethiopia's Adaptive Safety Net (SEASN) Project and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for the procurement of water Pumps, ICT materials and Motorcycles.
2. The Bureau invites all interested bidders to submit their bids for the Supply of the items indicated in the bid document.

3. Bidding process will be governed by the World Bank's Procurement Regulations.

office #2 Hawassa, Ethiopia and inspect the bidding documents during office hours 08:30 A.M 12:30 PM and 1:30 5:30 P.M from Monday to Friday at the address given below, except on public holiday.

5. A Complete set of bidding document in English language may be purchased by interested Bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of ETB 400(four hundred Birr). The method of payment will be Cash. The document will be sent by in hand.
6. Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before May 25, 2025 G.C at 3:00 PM. (the exact date will be revealed on the bidding document). Electronic Bidding will not be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders representatives, who chooses to attend in person at conference hall of the Bureau on the last day of bid submission at 3:00 PM.
7. Each Bid must be accompanied by a "Bid Security" of ETB 200,000.00(Two hundred thousand only) in the form of CPO or Unconditional Bank guaranty.
8. Bidders may bid for one or more lots.
9. The Bureau reserves the right to accept or reject any Bid, and to annul the Bidding process and reject all bids at any time prior to Award of the Contract.
10. Evaluation Criteria will be stipulated in the bidding document.
