NATIONAL COMPETITIVE BIDDING (NCB)

IFB Title: Infrastructure Construction at Murche site located at about 26 km south of Arba Minch city in Southern Ethiopia.

1. The Agricultural Transformation Institute of Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has funds, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this fund to payments under the Contract for the provision of Infrastructure Construction at Murche site.
2. The Agricultural Transformation Institute now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders to submit their technical and financial proposals.
3. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with open tendering procedures contained in the Public Procurement Proclamation of the Government of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia. Bidding is open to all Bidders from eligible source countries.
4. A complete set of bidding document in English shall be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Ethiopian Birr 200 (ETB Two hundred only). Which Shall be into our bank Account No 1000517806424. The bank deposit slip should then be submitted to our office as proof of payment.
5. Bids must be delivered to the address below at or before 10:00 AM April 28, 2025. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders' representatives who choose to attend in person at the address below at 10:30 AM April 28, 2025.
6. All Bids must be accompanied by a bid security in the amount of ETB 500,000.00 (Five Hundred Thousand) or equivalent amount in a freely convertible currency.
7. No one is allowed to duplicate or transfer the Bidding document that she/he acquired to participate under this invitation.
8. Bidders with Grade 3 and above General contractor or water works contractor can participate.
9. Bidders are required to submit the following documents: for National Companies a copy of renewed Trade Licence, VAT Registration certificate, tax clearance, TIN certificate, Supplier registration certificate from PPA Website or e-GP portal, and professional licence.
10. After receipt of bids, ATI reserves the right to request any additional information or seek clarifications from the bidder to ascertain responsiveness of bids received.
11. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the Bidding Documents at the address given below from 8:30 AM to 11:30AM and 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM local time.
