INVITATION FOR RE-BID

1. The East Hararghe Zone Irrigation and Pastoral Development Office is inviting eligible bidders for the construction of the Aambo small-scale irrigation project located in Metta Woreda, funded by the European Union. Interested parties can reach the office at Tel No. 0256667987/1583
2. Bid is open for all eligible bidders fulfilling the following criteria:
   1. Construction work License of WWC-5 and above renewed for 2017 E.C and those currently registered from the mandated public body for the registration of contractors is: Ministry of Construction or/and Ministry of Water, Irrigation and Electricity/or Oromia Construction Authority.
   2. Have registration for VAT and Tax Identification number (TIN) together with written tax clearance from Revenue. Authority that enables to participate on bid.
   3. Who Have done similar Irrigation and water supply projects, pond, & drinking water supply projects. Moreover, to be Eligible for this bid, a bidder should be none black listed and None track record of termination of projects with clients at regional or Zonal offices.

3. Interested eligible bidders can buy the bid document for 1000 birr a non-refundable fee & starting from the first announcement date
4. partial offer with in a project is not acceptable.
5. All Bids must be accompanied by bid security in an acceptable form of certified CPO only of Birr 150,000 (One hundred Fifty thousand birr) valid for 90 days
6. The bid was announced for twenty-one working days starting from the 1st announcement days & submitted to East Harargh Finance Office
7. Late bidder will be rejected
8. The technical and financial for all bid documents envelops should be submitted according to in bid document-
9. Bids will be opened on the same date of bid closing morning at 4:00 and open at 4:30 local time with the presence of the bidders and/or their authorized representatives who are interested to attend at East Hararghe Zone Finance Office. If there will be public holiday or weekend on this day the closing and opening day of the bid will take place on the next working day at the same time and place.
10. The office reserves the right to accept or reject partial or all bids.
