Ethiopian Electric Utility South Addis Ababa Region invites sealed bids from eligible bidders by this National Competitive Bidding (NCB) for the procurement of Construction of offices Maintenance works for South Addis Ababa Region in open bidding procedure.

1. The Ethiopian Electric Utility South Addis Ababa Region invites sealed bids from eligible Bidders who have for GC-5 or BC-5 and Above Construction Licenses valid for the current Ethiopian Fiscal Year, (EFY. 2017), Trade License valid for the current Ethiopian Fiscal Year (EFY, 2017), VAT Registration Certificate. TIN Certificate, valid Tax Clearance Certificate and with Registration in the Suppliers List of Public Procurement and Property Administration Agency (PPA), For Construction of South Addis Ababa Region Offices Maintenance works in front of former Global Hotel by providing all necessary Materials, Equipment and Labor which is proposed to build in South Addis Ababa Region office.
2. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the Open Bid Tendering Procedures contained in the Public Procurement Proclamation of the Federal Government of Ethiopia. Bidders who participate must have similar experience to the proposed Works.
3. A complete set of bidding Documents may be purchased by any interested eligible bidders at the address as mentioned below upon payment of non-refundable fee of against payment receipt for ETB 300.00 (Three hundred) 1000173799946 (EEU-Southern Addis Ababa Region Customer Contribution).
4. Bids must be delivered on or before the closing date and time to the above mentioned address. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security in the form of (CPO or Unconditional Bank Guarantee) as mentioned above. Late bids shall be rejected and will be returned unopened to the Bidder.
5. The Bid is Single Stage two envelope systems: Technical offer, Bid Security opened at a time and after technical evaluation Financial will be opened in the presence of the bidders or bidder's representatives who choose to attend at the address on the above mentioned date and time. Bid proposals comprising One Original and One Copies of the Technical (Qualification) and Financial Proposals in separate envelopes within one mother envelop as per the instruction of the bid document.
6. South Addis Ababa Region reserves the right to reject all or partial bid without assigning any reason thereof.

• Bidders are instructed to fill; sign all the forms of the bid documents.
• All Bids must include value added tax (VAT) on the summary of the bid price.
• Partial rebate, like fixed sum and rebate on some items is not acceptable.

7.  Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and clarification from South Addis Ababa Region and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below.
