TO: Contractors Registered in Water Works Construction, Category Grade VII and above with renewed valid license for the budget year.

1. 1. 1. Menschen für Menschen Foundation, representing communities in project areas, has allocated budgeted for the construction and electromechanical installation of rural water supply systems in five drought-affected locations in the Dire and Miyo districts of the Borena Zone, Oromia Region. This is a second call for bids. Eligible contractors with renewed waterworks construction license for the year, WWC-7 (or higher) are invited to submit sealed bids for the execution of this work by providing necessary labor, materials, and equipment
      2. A completed set of bidding documents may be purchased by any interested eligible bidders on the submission of a written application to the office of Menschen fir Menschen Foundation Project Coordination Office. A.A around Bulbulla in front of Aser concrete mixing plant upon payment of non-refundable Barr 500.00
      3. The technical and financial proposal have to be submitted before the opening tune indicated below and must be in a was sealed separate envelopes

      5. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security, in an acceptable CPO for 1% of the project cost.
      6. The deadline for submission of bids shall be at or before 2:00 pm. on 10th working day of the announcement of this invitation for bids notice and must be submitted at the address specified under item (2) above.
      7. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders or their representatives who choose to attend in person at 2:30 p.m. on 10th calendar day of the announcement at aforementioned address specified under item (2). If there will be public holiday & weekends on this date, the closing and opening of the bid will take place on the next working day at the same time and the same venue.
      8. The construction work shall be completed within a Maximum of 6 months from the commencement of the work.
      9. Bidders are requested to fill all necessary details in the schedules.
      10. Menschen für Menschen Foundation reserves the right to accept or reject any or all of the bids.
