1. The Central Ethiopia Regional State Water, Irrigation & Mines Development Bureau through the Government of Ethiopia has received finance from Government fundsand now invites sealed bids from qualified and eligible bidders category of WWC-5 or GC with WWC-5 & above to submit a sealed bid for the construction and completion of a HAP/ Hydroxyl Apatite/ Fluoride Treatment Plant for water supply Project at Silte Zone Misrak Silti Woreda Gerbiber Town.
2. Bidders should present a business license valid for the current year 2017 E.C and registration certificate for VAT, Certificate of registration in suppliers list /check online on registration of suppliers list, tax clearance certificate issued by the tax authority and TIN number.
3. Bidding will be conducted through National Competitive Bidding (NCB) as specified in the in the Guideline.
4. We notice that Bidders are invited to submit financial original plus three copies & technical original plus three copies separately enclosed in a wax-sealed envelope to the Bureau.
5. Qualifications requirements include: 1. Ownership and/or existing lease of relevant equipment and machinery. 2. Experience in water work construction and related. 3. Availability of relevant experienced personnel as provided in the bidding document.
6. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from the address given below and inspect the Bidding Documents at that address from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm & from 1:30 pm to 5:30 pm Monday to Friday.
7. A complete set of Bidding Documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written Application to the Central Ethiopia Regional State Water, Irrigation & Mines Development Bureau, Procurement, Finance and Property Administration Directorate at the address given below, upon payment of ETB 300.00 /Three hundred Birr/non-refundable fee.

The method of payment will be in cash against receipt. A person delegated by the bidder can collect the Bidding Documents. Bids should be accompanied by a bid security amounting to 150,000.00 /One Hundred Fifty Thousand Birr/in an acceptable form of CPO or unconditional Bank Guarantee and shall remain valid for a period of 120 days after the date of bid opening.

8. Bids shall be valid for a period of Ninety (90) days after Bid opening.
9. Bids must be delivered to the Central Ethiopia Regional State Water, Irrigation & Mines Development Bureau, Room number Ground Block Room number 22 & 23 Wolikte, at or before 2:00 p.m. on the 21st calendar day of announcement of this invitation for bid notice on the Ethiopian national newspaper. Late bids will be rejected.

1. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders / their representatives who choose to attend in person at 2:30 p.m. on the 21st day of this announcement on the national newspaper at the Tender Committee office of Central Ethiopia Regional State Water, Irrigation & Mines Development Bureau, Wolikte Town. If there will be a public holiday on this date, the closing and opening of the bid will take place on the next working day at the same time and at the same venue.
2. The Central Ethiopia Regional State Water, Irrigation & Mines Development Bureau reserves the right to reject all or part of the bid.
