The Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Food System Resilience Program and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for LOT-2a Batu Chirecha (#3], Kobbo [#1] and Awash Bune [#1] kebeles for Construction of Irrigation water well drilling [#5] in Oromia Regional State, South West Shoa Zone of Bacho Woreda.

1. Bacho Woreda Agriculture and Land Office hereby invites registered eligible bidders of Con-tractors Category-Water Well Drilling Contractor Grade 5 and above for Irrigation Water Wells Drilling
2. Interested Potential Bidders are required to present renewed relevant Trade License for the Ethiopian fiscal year, VAT Registration Certificate, Tax Clearance Certificate and Online Supplier list Registration Certificate together with their offer.
3. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the documents and relevant law of the country.
4. A complete set of bidding documents in English shall be obtained from Bacho Woreda Finance Office Room No. 3 upon producing receipt of non-refundable fee of Birr 500.00(Five hundred birr) depositing to CBE-1000036818909 starting from notifying on newspaper.
5. Bid must be accompanied with a Bid Security amount of 150,000.00ETB (One hundred fifty thousand birr only) in the form of Cashier's Payment Order (CPO) or unconditional and irrevocable Bank Guarantee letter from local reputable Banks.
6. Interested eligible bidders may submit the filled request for bid (RFB )document to Bacho Wore-da Finance Office including sealed bid documents of one original and two copy of each technical cach in separate envelope and all the three separate envelopes placed in one large outer envelope and marked as TECHNICAL OFFER DOCUMENTS, and financial original, financial copy 1, copy 2 and Bid Security each in separate envelops and all the four separate envelopes put in one large outer envelope and marked as FINANCIAL OFFER DOCUMENTS. At the top of each envelope including bid security and master envelope shall describe the Name of the Company or Association, name of the project, name of the project site, Name of the project owner, Signature of the representative of the company/association and telephone number, the stamp of the company/association clearly marking as original & copy document, the name of the representative of the company/association and the signature of the representative of the company/association
7. Bids must be delivered on or before March 24/3/2025 at 4:00 local time and open on 24/3/2025 at 4:30 local time, in the presence of bidders and/or their representatives who choose to attend.
8. Bid validity shall be 90 days after technical bid opening date.
9. Bacho Woreda Agriculture and Land Office reserves its rights to reject any or all bids
