Ethiopian Conformity Assessment Enterprise Would like to invite interested and experienced bidders for the supply of Biochemical Instruments, Glass Wares, Organic Chemicals, Inorganic Chemicals, Gases with Cylinders, Microbiology Lab Instruments & chemicals, Textile & Packaging Lab Chemicals & Consumables, Lather & Packaging Testing Lab. Equipment's & Consumables, Electrical Testing Lab Equipment's & Consumables and Mechanical Testing Lab. Equipment's & Consumables

1. Domestic suppliers should brining trade licenses renewed for 2017 E.C, VAT registration, TIN certificate and tax clearance certification.
2. Agents should present authorization letter from the principal supplier of manufacturers.
3. A complete set of the bidding documents may be purchased by interested eligible bidders at procurement and supplies team office upon payment of a non-refund-able fee which is stated below from the first insertion of this advertisement on the Ethiopian Herald Newspaper.

Interested bidders shall come up with a copy of eligibility documents stated above for validation purpose the copy is to be submitted during purchase.

4. The sealed envelopes should contain one original and copy of Technical, Financial offer documents and bid security with a separate envelope.
5. The country of origin of the goods clearly stated on the technical offer document Hence, the bidder must mention the country of origin as per the bid document BDS, section 2, No.23.2C.
6. Bid must be accompanied by a bid security in the form of bank guaranty from Commercial Bank of Ethiopia or reputable Bank Authenticated by Commercial Bank of Ethiopia,

N.B. The bid security must be valid for 150 days starting from bid opening date

7. Bids must be floated for 45 consecutive calendar days from the date that the invitation to bid posted on newspaper and the bid closed on the 46th day at 10:00 Α.Μ.
8. Bids will be opened on the 46th day at 10:30 A.M. in the presence of bidders or their representatives who choose to attend the bid opening at Ethiopian Conformity Assessment Enterprise Head. If the opening date lies on holyday or not working day the bid will be opened on the next day. Exact date will mention on the bid data sheet.
9. All bids those come after the closing date and time of the tender will be rejected
10. The Enterprise reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
