HUNDEE-Oromo Grassroots Development Initiative is a development, civic, and humanitarian local NGO established in April 1995. Pursuant to the new CSO Proclamation # 311/2019, it has been re-registered as a local NGO (local organization) under registration number 0074.

Accompanying resource-poor, highly vulnerable and marginalized/underserved female and male smallholder farmers, pastoral and agro-pastoral households and community groups (vulnerable male and female children, landless and unemployed/underemployed female and male youth, female-headed households and female and male persons with disabilities and those living with HIV/ AIDS, etc.) in their own development and humanitarian needs/requirements to improve their livelihoods and ultimately attain social and economic transformation in Oromia National Regional State.
