1. Bid Notice No, AFRDTB 002-2017 The Afar National Regional State represened by Afar Road Development arid Transport Bureau (AFRDTB) has received financing from the World Bank towards the cot of I)C2 Gravei Road Proacts to be constructed under Rural Connectivity for Food Security WO'S) Program and intends to apply part of this budget to lilied payments for the construction frtf..., below mentioned projects

2. The Afar Road Development and Transport Bureau now invites bidders to submit sealed bids for providing the necessary labor, material and equipment for construction works of the above road projects.
3. Interested bidders shall submit the following evidence:

Certificate to Registration from Ministry of Construction with the relevant Categories as specified in item 3 of the table below renewed for 2017 EH and other appropriate documentary evidences demonstrating the bidder’s compliance, which shall include:

i)Trading/Business License renewed for 2(117 E.C. from authorized bodies,

ii) VAT registration Certificate,

iii) Tax Clearance certificate issued from the Tax Authority (inland Revenue Authority) which allows the bidder to participate in public lenders at the dato of the deadline icr bid submission,

iv) Grade IV and below RC or GC Category Relevant Professional; Practice Certificates renewed for at least 201.7 E.G., from authorized kiddies.

vi Evidence of/Being/Registered as Supplier in the list of the Mandated Public Body, i.e., Public Procurement and Property Administration Agency.

1. Bidding will be conducted through National Competitive Bidding and is open to all eligible bidders as specified and defined In the Bidding Documents.
2. interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below from 7.00 aan, to 12:00 a.m. and 3:00 pm. to 6:00 pm. local time from Monday to Thursday, and from 7:00 to 11:00 am, and 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 pm. local time on Friday.
