TO: Contractors Registered in Water Works Construction, Category Grade VII and above with renewed valid license for the budget year.

1. Menschen fur Menschen Foundation on behalf of community of project intervention areas has allocated budget for civil work con-struct ion & installation of electromechanical equipment's of rural towns water supply system located at five drought affected sites of Dire and Miyo Woredas of Borena zone of Oromia region as indicated in the bid document; and Now invites wax-sealed bids from eligible bidders with grade WWC-7 (water works construction Category-VII) and above with renewed license valid for the year, to conduct civil work construction & installation of EM equipment's of aforementioned sites by providing the necessary labor, material and equipment.
2. A completed set of bidding documents may be purchased by any interested eligible bidders on the submission of a written application to the office of Menschen fur Menschen Foundation Project Coordination Office, A.A Woreda 12, Bole Bulbulla in front of Aser concrete mixing plant upon payment of non-refundable Birr
3. The technical and financial proposal has to be submitted before the opening time indicated below and must be in a wax sealed separate envelopes.
4. Bidders may obtain further information from, inspect and acquire the bidding documents at aforementioned address; P. O. Box 2568, Tel: +251-11-471-43-58/20/4579, Fax +251-11-471-4163, Α.Α Ethiopia.
5. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security, in an acceptable CPO for 1% of the project cost.
6. The deadline for submission of bids shall be at or before 2:00 p.m. on 10th working day of the announcement of this invitation for bids notice and must be submitted at the address specified under item (2) above.
7. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders or their representatives who choose to attend in person at 2:30 p.m. on 10th calendar day of the announcement at aforementioned address specified under item (2). If there will be public holiday & weekends on this date, the closing and opening of the bid will take place on the next working day at the same time and the same venue.
8. The construction work shall be completed within a Maximum of 6 months from the commencement of the work.
9. Bidders are requested to fill all necessary details in the schedules.
10. Menschen fur Menschen Foundation reserves the right to accept or reject any or all of the bids.
