1. 1. The Ethiopian Engineering Corporation (EEC) invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for procurement of Drilling, construction and testing of one borehole bid. The bidding documents require bidders to fulfill the following qualification requirements, General experience: The Bidder has successfully completed at least 2 borcholes in the past 5 years with 400 depth or greater depth Average Annual turnover: The average annual turnover calculated as total certified payments received for contracts in progress or completed within the last 3 years must as stated below. For evaluation purpose for local contractor's annual turnover shall be considered as the amount highest/peak/of all of the 5-year amounts for local contractor 10,000,000.00 ETB for local contractor in JV with foreign contractor 10,000,000.00 ETB.
   2. Eligible documents are: -Renewed trade license for the current year, valid tax clearance, VAT registration certificate, and Tax Payer Identification Certificate (TIN) and construction service registration certificate.
   3. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from Procurement Team Leader, Block 1. Floor 4, Corporate Service Office -EEC and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below during office hours from Monday to Thursday 8:00 AM to 12:30PM and 1:30PM to 4:00PM and Friday 8:00 AM to 11:30 AM and 1:30 PM to 4:00 PM.
   4. A complete set of bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Bur 300.00 (Three Hundred Birr) starting from starting from the date of this publication.
   5. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of Birr 300,000.00 (Three Hundred Thousand Birr) in the form of Cahier's payment order CPO or Unconditional Bank Guarantee letter from local bank and must be addressed to "Ethiopian Construction Design and Supervision Works Corporation" in separate envelope, and be delivered to the address below on or before 10:00 AM on Jan., 30, 2025. Bid security in the form of insurance bond shall not be accepted.
   6. Bids will be opened Jan., 30, 2025 at 10:30 AM in the presence of bidders' representatives, who choose to attend; at the address below. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected.
   7. Bidders shall be required to submit:
      1. Sealed Technical Proposal including eligibility documents (mandatory documentary evidence): one original and one copy; and also
      2. Sealed Financial Proposal: one original and one copy, CPO or Unconditional Bank Guarantee
   8. EEC reserve the right to reject all or parts of the bid.
