INVITATION FOR RE-BID (IFB)

IFB NO: - Bore/KfW-SLM-IV/NCB/WMAB/05/2017

The Bore Woreda Agriculture and Land office intends to apply part of the allocated budget from the KfW-SLM-IV to cover the eligible payments under the contract for the Construction of Melka Leme and Warko small- scale irrigation projects for the local community.

1. The Bore woreda Agriculture and Land office invites eligible contractors of category WWC-6 and/or GC-6 and above to submit sealed bids for providing the necessary labour, material and equipment for the execution and completion of the following projects in two lots.

2. Invited bidders should have certificate of competency from the relevant institutions renewed for the bidding period, commercial registration certificate, renewed trade license for the bidding period, Tax clearance certificate which is valid for the bid submission date that permits the bidder to participate in any public tender, TIN and VAT registration certificate.
3. Bidding will be conducted through National Competitive Bidding (NCB) and are open to all eligible bidders.
4. A complete set of bidding documents can be collected from Bore Woreda Finance Office upon payment of a non-refundable fee of ETB 500.00 (Five Hundred only) at Woreda Revenue Authority Office in cash only.
5. All bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 21 calendar days from the last advertisement date notice on Ethiopian Herald NEWS on or before January 30/ 2025 at 10:00 A.M in the Morning. If the 21-calendar day is non-working day/s, it will be on the next working day. Late bids shall be rejected.
6. Bids will be opened on the same date at the presence of the bidders'/ bidders' representatives at Bore Woreda Finance Office, Room No. 1 on January 30/2025 at 10:30 A.M in the Morning.
7. Bids shall be valid for a period of 90 days after bid closing and bid security shall be valid for 120 days after bid opening.
8. A bid must be accompanied by a bid security amount indicated in above table in the form of CPO or Unconditional Bank Guarantee only.
9. Qualification criteria stated on the bid document should be respected and have to be addressed in a brief and clear way
10. Each bidder can compete for the two lots. However, if one bidder wins the two lots, only one lot will be awarded based on the client interest.
11. Bore Woreda finance office has reserved the right to partially or fully accept or reject the bid at any time prior to contract award, without incurring any liability to bidders.
