1. 1. This Invitation for Bids follows the General Procurement Notice for this Project that appeared in Development Business, issue no. Not Applicable
   2. The Gambella Water Works Construction Enterprise (GWWCE) through the regional Government of Ethiopia has received credit from the CAPITAL BUDGET and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this credit to payments under the Contract for Procurement of drilling equipment/good for the Enterprise in the Region.

1. 3. The Gambella Water Works Construction Enterprise (GWWCE)) now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for the supply of Casings and Indian Mark II Hand pump drilling equipment/goods Bidders must supply all required items and full quantities. Otherwise, the bid may be rejected.
   4. Bidding will be conducted through National Competitive Bidding (NCB) as specified in the World Bank's Guidelines: Procurement under JBRD Loans and IDA Credits.
   5. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from the address given below and inspect the Bidding Documents at that address from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm Monday to Friday.
   6. Bidding is open to Suppliers that have delivered on contracts of a similar type and quantity in the last three years, for supply of Casings and drilling equipment/goods must be manufactured by companies that have familiar for the required equipment/ goods at least three years in annual quantities at least five times that to be supplied under this contract. Additional details are provided in the Bidding Documents.
   7. A complete set of Bidding Documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written Application to the Gambella Water Works Construction Enterprise (GWWCE), at office of procurement, and Finance Administration department at the address given below, upon payment of, 500 ETB non-refundable fee. The method of payment will be in cash against receipt. The Bidding Documents will be collected by a person delegated by the bidder.
   8. Bids must be delivered to the Gambella Water Works Construction Enterprise (GWWCE), at office procurement, and inane Administration department at Gambella Town Telephone number 0911091561/0634460052 at 3:30 PM Dec 24, 2024G.Co 15/4/2017 E.C Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected.
   9.  Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders' representatives who choose attend in person at 3:30PM on Jan13. 2024 or 5/5/2017 E.C at the Gambella Water Works Construction Enterprise (GWWCE) Bids shall be valid for a period o R opening and must be accompanied by bid security of 50,000 ETB in the form (CPO).
   10. The Gambella Water Works Construction Enterprise (GWWCE) reserves the right reject all or part of the bid.
