Therefore Eligible Contractor that fulfill the following criteria are invited to participate on the bid

Invitation for Bridges Construction Bid No 005/2017

1. The South west Ethiopia Roads Authority, by the budget from South West Ethiopia Peoples Regional State allocated sufficient budget towards the cost of previously commenced construction activity of the following river bridge project

2. Interested bidders shall submit the following evidence:

1. It's Certificate of registration from Ministry of Urban Development and Construction bureau with Category GC-5 or RC-5 and above, and renewed for the current budget year and other appropriate documentary evidences demonstrating the bidder's compliance, which shall include:
2. Renewed Business License
3. Renewed Commercial Registration Certificate

1. Renewed Construction Competency Certificate from the Ministry of Urban Development and Construction
2. VAT Registration Certificate
3. Taxpayer registration certificate
4. Renewed Permission certificate for bidding from legal authorities for the current budget year.
5. Evidence of Being/registered supplier under public procurement and property Administration Agency (PPPAA).

3. Bidders, who have previously had their projects terminated by our office due to non-performance, or those who failed to complete projects under their responsibility after price adjustments were made, shall not be eligible to participate in this bid.
4. Bidders shall submit three envelopes, "Qualification information" (one Original sealed separately and each two copies sealed separately, then finally sealed with one outer envelope), "Bid Security" and "Financial Bid" (one Original sealed separately and each two copies sealed separately, then finally sealed with one outer envelope) and finally three envelopes should be sealed in one an outer envelope.
5. Evaluation is to be carried out in two stages, Qualification information first and Financial Bids of qualified bidders at the second.
6. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below from 8:30 to 12:30 a.m. and 1:30 to 5:30 pm from Mondays to Thursdays and 8:30 to 11:30a.m. and 1:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Friday's.
7. A complete set of bidding documents prepared in English language may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of ETB 1200 on the office commercial bank of Ethiopia account number 1000642058936, during working hours of 30 successive calendar days starting from the first date of notification of this advertisement on Newspaper. The final submission date and opening of proposal will be on the 31" date of this announcement on the News Paper at 11:00AM & 2:30PM respectively. If the 31st date is not a working day it will be on the next working days at the same time.
8. Bids must be delivered to the below address on or before 11:00am. Of the above stased date. Bids must be accompanied by a bid security of ETB 350,000(Three Hundred Fifty Thousand Birr Only) and it should be valid for 118 days from the latest deadline for the submission of bids. Late bids will be rejected.
9. South west Ethiopia Roads Authority reserves the right to accept or reject part or all of the bidding process.
