RE-ADVERTISEMENT FOR THE GEOTECHNICAL INVESTIGATION OF BRIDGE FOUNDATIONS

The Contractor, DIRIBA DEFERSHA GENERAL CONTRACTOR (GC-1) has signed a Contract Agreement with the Client Addis Ababa City Road Authority (AACRA) for the Construction Works of Arat kilo-Kebena-Kenya Embassy - Megenagna Street Corridor Project (4.81 Km) Road: Therefore, in accordance with the contractual requirements, Diriba Defersha General Contractor is issuing this rebid and invites bidders to submit sealed bids for the provision of services for the geotechnical investigation of bridge foundations along the road project mentioned above, including the necessary labor, materials, and equipment.

1. Interested bidders shall submit the following evidence:

• Trading /Business License renewed for 2016 E.C. from authorized bodies,
• VAT registration Certificate,
• Tax Clearance Certificate; issued from the tax authority (Inland Revenue Authority) which states that the Sub-contractor is eligible to participate in any public tender and valid at least at the date of submission of Bid documents.
• Grade 2 Category or above of Relevant Competency Certificates renewed for at least 2016 E.C.
• Evidence of/Being/ Registered as Supplier in the list of the Mandated Public Body, i.e., Public Procurement and Property Administration Agency.
• Bidders are required to furnish, alongside their Technical Proposal, a Bid Security in the amount of 100,000 ETB (One Hundred Thousand Birr) for a period of 50 calendar days.

2. Bidding will be open to all eligible bidders as specified and defined in bidding document
3. A complete set of Bidding Document prepared in English language shall be purchased by interested bidders to the address below and a nonrefundable fee of ETB 100, effective as of 11th of November, 2024. The method of payment shall be in cash.
4. The Bidder shall submit the Bid in accordance with the instruction to bid and Bidding Data.
5. The Diriba Defersha General Contractor (GC-1) reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids.
6. Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 31 of December, 2024 at 10:00 A.M. Bid will also be opened at 11:00 A.M the same day on 31 of December, 2024.
