The Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Food System Resilience Program and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for LOT-2a Batu Chirecha, Kobbo and Awash Bune kebeles for Construction of Irrigation water well drilling in Oromia Regional State, South West Shoa Zone of Bacho Woreda.

1. Bacho Woreda Agriculture Office invited sealed bids from eligible bidders of Contractors Category their license is renewed for construction works of below listed projects.

2. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the documents and relevant law of the country.
3. A complete set of bidding documents in English shall be obtained from Bacho Woreda Finance Office Room No. 3 upon producing receipt of non-refundable fee of Birr 500.00(Five hundred birr) at Bacho Woreda Finance Office by depositing to 1000036818909 CBE during working hours (Monday to Friday 2:30AM to 12:30AM; 1:30PM to 5:30PM) starting from Notifying on newspaper up on presentation of copy of renewed relevant trade license/Work Permit (Competency Certificate), VAT and TIN Registration Certificate, Tax Clearance Certificate
4. Bid must be accompanied by a bid bond amount of 150,000.00ETB (One hundred fifty thousand birr only) in the form of Cashier's Payment
5. Order CPO or unconditional and irrevocable Bank Guarantee letter from local reputable Banks and must be addressed to Bacho Woreda Finance Office in separate envelope. Failure to fulfill acceptable Bid Security will be cause for disqualifications. 5. Interested eligible bidders may submit the filled request for bid
6. (RFB)document to Bacho Woreda Finance Office including sealed bid documents of one original and two copy of each technical each in separate envelope and all the three separate envelopes placed in one large outer envelope and marked as TECHNICAL OFFER DOCUMENTS, and financial original, financial copy 1, copy 2 and Bid Security each in separate envelops and all the four separate envelopes put in one large outer envelope and marked as FINANCIAL OFFER DOCUMENTS. At the top of each envelope including bid security and master envelope shall describe the Name of the Company or Association, name of the project, name of the project site, Name of the project owner, Signature of the representative of the company/ association and telephone number, the stamp of the company/ association clearly marking as original & copy document, the name of the representative of the company/association and the signature of the representative of the company/association 6. Bid opening shall be held at Bacho Woreda Finance office, in the
7. presence of bidders and/or their representatives.
8. Bid validity shall be 90 days after technical bid opening date.
