The Goba Woreda Agriculture and Land Office intends to apply parts of the allocated budget of the Food System Resilience Program financed by the world bank (IDA) toward the cost of construction of Wecho crop Market center and intends to apply part of the allocated budget towards payments under the contract of this construction works.

Goba Woreda Agriculture and Land office invites all eligible and qualified contractors of category Grade GC-5/BC-5 & above who are financially and technically capable to furnish the necessary labor, material and equipment cost of construction of Wecho crop Market center) as described in the table below

1. The bidder shall submit certificate of registration or certificate of competence from concerned body and Trade license which renewed for the current budget year (2017 E.C) and who have TIN and VAT registration certificate & Tax clearance certificate valid during the bidding period from Oromia Revenue Bureau/Federal Tax Authority.
2. Bidding will be conducted through National Competitive bidding (NCB) procedures as specified in the world's Procurement regulations Bidding document prepared in the English language can be purchased from Goba Woreda Agriculture and Land office room No 05 starting from December 03-2024 with Nonrefundable fee of birr 2000(two thousand) sending to the bank account number of the Sinqe bank Goba Finance office Acc. No 1071305601216 and sending to the bank advice and attach revenue receipts
3. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from Goba Woreda Agriculture and Land office and also the bidding documents in soft copy can be collected from the office which is necessary for bidding purposes at working time.
4. All bidders must be accompanied by a bid security in CPO or Bank guarantee of 450,000.00 (Four hundred fifty thousand birr) valid for 90 days after the date of bid opening. The bid security must be addressed to Goba woreda Finance office.
5. The dead line of bid submission shall be on January 02-2025 at 4:00 A.M local time starting from the announcement date on the newspaper and Bids Will be opened on the same day January 02-2025 at 4:30 local time in Goba Woreda Finance room No. 01
6. The bidding procedure to be followed is a one-envelope procedure. The technical qualification documents and financial offers will be opened at the same time, and financial bid prices and other necessary information will be read out at the opening.
7. The original, copy of the technical documents and CPO/Bank Guarantee each shall be placed in separate envelop marked as "Original technical document, technical copy and CPO/Bank Guarantee" and all this envelop should be placed in one large outer envelope and wax sealed by marking as technical and CPO Bank Guarantee with full information.
8. The original and copy of the financial documents each shall be placed in separate envelop marked as "Original financial document, financial copy and all this envelop should be placed in one large outer envelope and wax sealed by marking as financial with full information.
9. Both envelops (7& 8) shall be placed in a large outer envelope and Wax sealed. This outer envelope shall bear the submission address and other information indicated in the bid data sheet and clearly marked "to be opened only in the presence of the tender committee.
10. Goba woreda Agriculture and Land Office reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
