Dre Dawa Region Electine Utility invites sealed bids from eligible bidders by His National Competitive Biddung (NCB) for the procurement of Supply with Constriction of New Service center, Region and SCADA office maintenance and Site Work in on open bidding procedure

1. The Dire Dawa Region Electric Utility invites sealed bids from eligible Bidders who have GC/BC-4 & above for lot | & GC/BC-5 and above for lot 2, Construction Licenses valid for the current Ethiopian Fiscal Year, (EFY, 2017), Trade License valid for the current Ethiopian Fiscal Year (EFY, 2017), VAT Registration Certificate, TIN Certificate, valid Tax Clearance Certificate and with Registration in the Suppliers List of Public Procurement and Property Administration Agency (PPPAA). The bidders by providing all necessary Materials, Equipment and Labor which is proposed to be built at the mentioned sites.
2. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the OPEN Bid Tendering Procedures contained in the Public Procurement Proclamation of the Federal Government of Ethiopia. Bidders who participate must have similar experience to the proposed Works.
3. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and clarification from Dire Dawa Region Electric Utility (DDREJ) and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below

4. A complete set of bidding Documents may be purchased by any interested eligible bidders at Addis Abeba sengatera area, Nib International Bank Hade Quarter Building 10^th floor Ethiopian Electric Utility Supply Chain office and Greek Camp Behind Dire Dawa stadium Dire Dawa Region Electric Utility office and upon payment of non-refundable fee of against payment receipt of ETB. 800.00 (Eight hundred Birr) for lot 1 & birr 600(six hundred) for lot 2.
5. Bids must be delivered on or before the closing date and time to the above- mentioned address. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security in the form of (CPO or Unconditional Bank Guarantee) as mentioned above. Late bids shall be rejected and will be returned unopened to the Bidder.
6. The Bid is Single Stage Single envelope system; Technical offer, Financial & Bid Security will be opened in the presence of the bidders or bidders' representatives' who choose to attend at the address above on the above- mentioned date and time.
7. Bidders are advised to submit their offer after examining the bid document carefully.
8. Dire Dawa Region Electric Utility (DDREU) reserves the right to reject all or partial bid without assigning any reason thereof.

Bidders are instructed to fill; sign and sealed all the forms of the bid documents.

All Bids must include value added tax (VAT) on the summary of the bid price Partial rebate, like fixed sum and rebate on some items is not acceptable.
