1. Amhara National Regional State Irrigation and, Low Land Areas Development Bureau through the Government of Ethiopia has received finance from the African Development Bank herein after called the Bank, towards the cost of Multi-Sectorial Approach for Stunting Reduction Project and it intends to apply part of funds to cover eligible payments under the contract for which this invitation is issued for the construction of Three Small Scale Irrigation Projects.
2. The Amhara National Regional State Irrigation and Low Land Area Development Bureau now invite eligible bidders with work licenses in water works construction.

3. Bidding will be conducted through a National Competitive Bidding (NCB) in accordance with the procedures of the Africa Development Bank's Procurement Framework for Bank Funded Operations dated October 2015.
4. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from ANRS Irrigation and Low Land Area Development Bureau, (Irrigation Schemes Construction Input Supply Directorate) Ato Adane Alkadir email adanealkadir@gmail.com and inspect the bidding document during office hours from 8:30 A.M to 5:30 PM Monday to Friday at the address given below.
5. A complete set of bidding documents in English may be purchased directly from the ANRS Irrigation and Low Land Areas Development Bureau, Irrigation Schemes Construction Input Supply Directorate, 3rd floor room finance directorate upon payment of a none refundable fee Birr-1500/One Thousand Five Hundred Birr/. The method of payment will be in cash. The bid document will be directly sent by the bidder or its legal representative.
6. Bids must be delivered to ANRS Irrigation and Lowland Areas Development Bureau, Irrigation Schemes Construction Input Supply Directorate, 3rd floor room mini hall Bahir Dar, before 10:00 AM November 29, 2024 G.C and Bids shall be opened at 10:00 A.M on the same date in the presence of the bidders or their legal representatives who wish to attend. If the bid opening date is Holiday, the opening date will be the next working day. Electronic Bidding shall not be permitted. Late Bids shall be rejected.
7. All Bids must be accompanied by the amount of bid security as stated in the table above in the form of Unconditional Bank Guarantee or CPO and shall remain valid for a period of 120 days + 28 days. Insurance bond is not acceptable.
8. Bidders are required to submit copies of all eligible documents and licenses which are renewed for the year 2024 G.C.
9. The Bureau reserves the right to accept or reject all or part of the bid.
