1. The Government of Ethiopia has received finance from the World Bank towards the cost of the Ethiopia Food System Resilience Program for the procurement of proceeds of this credit to payments under the contract for Construction of Micro and Household Irrigation in Godere Woreda-Akashi Kebele.
2. The Gambela People National Regional State, Majang Zone, Godere Woreda Irrigation and Lowland Office now invites sealed bids from qualified eligible bidders for execution of the following Contract;

3. Bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding (NCB) procedure specified in the World Bank's Guidelines: Procurement under IDA Credits, and is open to all bidders from eligible source countries as defined in the Guidelines.

1. Interested eligible bidders shall submit the evidences of Construction License Certificate, renewed trade license for the year of 2016 E.C, VAT registration certificate, Valid Tax clearance certificate, TIN certificate and Registration Certificate in the suppliers list under Appropriate Public Agency.
2. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from the Godere Woreda Irrigation and Lowland Office, from 08:30 am to 12:30 am & 1:30 pm to 5:30 pm from Monday to Friday.
3. A complete set of Bidding Documents in English language may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application and copies of necessary renewed licenses with originals from Godere Woreda Finance Office, Procurement and Property Admin. Directorate, Room No.10, Meti Town, from 8:30 am up to 12:30 AM and 1:30 PM to 5:30 PM in working days, and upon payment of a non- refundable fee of Br 500.00 and method of payment will be in cash.
4. The Bidders should have the experience on Irrigation construction of at least two similar and related projects in the last five years, supported with name of client, type and value of contracts.
5. Bid shall be accompanied by a Bid Security amount of ETB 250,000.00 (Two Hundred Fifty Thousand) in the name of Godere Woreda Irrigation and Lowland Office and valid for period of 90 (Ninety) days after Bid submission deadline. The bid security shall be valid for twenty- eight days (28) beyond the end of the validity period of the bid. Bid security shall be unconditional bank guarantee or CPO. Bid Security in the form of insurance bond and/or money order cheque shall not be accepted. Bid Security shall be submitted in its original form; copies will not be accepted.
6. Bidders must submit to the given below, one original technical and one original financial document, two copies of technical and financial document, bid security, each all document should be sealed by envelope, stamped, waxed and enclosed all in one mother envelope. Since the bid is a single stage one envelope systems, the original technical document, the original financial document and Bid security opened at the same time.
7. Bids must be delivered in person to the address below on or before November 29, 2024, at 2:30 PM. Electronic and postal bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the bidders' designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at Godere Finance Office's, Meti town, Procurement and Property Admin. Directorate, Room No.10, on November 29, 2024 at 3:00 PM.
8. Misplacement of the document would be a case of rejection of the bid document.
9. The successful Bidder shall submit the beneficial ownership disclosure form.
10. The Gambela People National Regional State, Majang Zone, Godere Woreda Irrigation and Lowland Office reserves the right to reject all or part of the bid.
