1. The Gambella regional state Bureau of Irrigation and low land Project has allocated budget SDGs toward the cost of the Small-scale irrigation projects and it intends to part of funds to cover eligible payments under the Contract for SDGs Small scale Irrigation projects.
2. Gambella regional state Bureau of Irrigation and low land now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the construction of small scale Irrigation Projects and Supply & Installation of Pump & generator in Adura kebele Makuey Woredas of Gambella Region.
3. Bidding will be conducted through a NATIONAL COMPETETIVE BIDDING (NCB) procedure and is open to all bidders from eligible source as defined in the Guidelines.
4. Bid shall be valid for a period of one hundred twenty (120) days after Bid opening. Bids shall be valid for a period of one hundred twenty (120) days after Bid opening. Bids must be the amount of the Bid security shall be ETB 300,000 (three hundred thousand Birr).
5. The bid security at the Bidder's option could be in the form of CPO (Certified chequer Guarantee. or Payable order,) or an unconditional Bank Gurantee.
6. Insurance bond is not acceptable.
7. Bidders must obtain registration for category WWC_3 and above with valid license for the 2017 EFY
8. Qualification requirement as provided in the bidding document with others additional details.
9. A complete set of bidding documents may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application and copies of necessary renewed licenses with originals from Gambella regional state Bureau of Irrigation and low land, Gambella City, at or before 3:00 P.m. On 31st day of announcement of this invitation for bids notice on the Ethiopian national newspaper upon payment of a non-refundable, fee of Birr 300.00. Equivalent amount in a freely convertible currency. Local bidders are required to attach, with their application, a copy of renewed license for 2017 EFY, VAT certificate and TIN.
10.  Bids must be delivered to the Gambella regional state Bureau of Irrigation and low land, Gambella City, at or before 3:00 p.m. on 31st day of announcement of this invitation for bid notice on the Ethiopian national newspaper. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected.
11.  Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders' /their representatives who choose to attend in person at 3:30 p.m. on 31st day of this announcement on national newspaper at Gambella regional state Bureau of Irrigation and low land, Gambella City. If there will be public holiday or Weekend on this date, the closing and opening of the bid will take place on the next working day at the same time and the same venue,
12.  Gambella regional state Irrigation and low land development reserves the right to reject all or part of the bid.
