Ethiopian Airlines Group intends to invite qualified bidders for the Design Review and Build of Wolayta Sodo Airfield project. Hence, ETG invites all interested and eligible Contractors who can meet the requirements stated hereunder: -

Eligible bidders of Category GC/RC-1 Contractors with relevant experience and valid licenses for the year 2017E.C. Valid VAT Registration Certificate, Taxpayer Registration and Tax Clearance Certificate stating the bidder is eligible to participate in any public tender.

1. Bidding will be conducted through a National Competitive Bidding (NCB) procedure and is open to all bidders as specified and defined in the Bidding Documents.
2. The design and construction of the works shall be completed within 730 calendar days from the commencement of the work.
3. Bidders can get the bid document from the date of announcement by depositing nonrefundable ETB 100.00 (One Hundred Birr) to the nearby Commercial Bank of Ethiopia (CBE) branch referring this tender number SSNT- T497 to Ethiopian Airlines Group Account Number 1000006958277(E-99). Bidders shall email the scanned copy of the deposit slip to the below email address and will get the tender document by return Email.
4. Bidders shall furnish bid security in the form of CPO or unconditional and irrevocable bank guarantee with an amount of ETB 500,000.00 (Five Hundred Thousand only) in the name of Ethiopian Airlines Group. Any insurance guarantee shall not be accepted.
5. The Bid bond of unsuccessful bidders will be returned once the winner signed the contract.
6. Bidders must submit their sealed bid document in separate envelopes i.c., the (Technical Proposal, Financial Offer, and Bid Security) and one outer envelope, duly marking the inner envelopes as "ORIGINAL" and "COPIES" document delivered to Ethiopian Airlines, Strategic Sourcing Non-Technical section before/on November 13, 2024 at 3:00PM. The bid will be opened on the same date at 3:30PM, at Ethiopian Airlines Group Head Addis Ababa office bid opening room in the presence of bidders. 7. Bids shall be valid for a period of one hundred fifty (150) calendar days after tender opening.
8. Contractors with more than two (2) ongoing EAG projects where progress is less than seventy percent (<70%) are not eligible to participate on this bid.
9. Ethiopian Airlines Group reserves the right to cancel or modify the tender partially or entirely.
