Ethiopian Airlines Group (EAG) invites all interested and eligible bidders who can meet the requirements stated hereuder

INVITATION TO BID FOR SPACE RENTAL

Bid Announcement No. SSNT-T495

Ethiopian Airlines Group (EAG) intends to lease available spaces at Addis Ababa Bole International Airport Terminal 2 for competent service providers willing to provide foreign exchange services in 7 (seven) open spaces with a rental basis.

Hence EAG invites all interested and eligible bidders who can meet the requirements stated hereuder

1. Any legally established bidders with a valid and renewed business license for commercial banking services or independent foreign exchange bureaus for the 2016 E.C. fiscal year from the National Bank of Ethiopia, along with a VAT registration certificate (if applicable) and TIN certificate, may participate in the bid.
2. A bidder shall be allowed to participate in only one space. Additionally, bidders currently providing foreign exchange services at Addis Ababa Bole International Airport Terminal 2 in the arrival area shall not be eligible to participate for spaces designated for rental services in the arrival areas for this bid. Similarly, those bidders currently providing foreign exchange services in the departure area shall not be eligible to participate for spaces designated for rental services in the departure areas for this bid.
3. Bidders should deposit a non-refundable fee of ETB 100.00 (One Hundred Birr) to the nearest Commercial Bank of Ethiopia (CBE) branch, referring to this tender number SSNT-T495, to Ethiopian Airlines Group Account Number 1000006958277 (E-99). Bidders shall email the scanned copy of the deposit slip along with their company name and bid announcement number.

4. Bidders should submit bid security of ETB 100,000.00 (One Hundred Thousand Birr) in the form of a CPO or unconditional bank guarantee from a recognized bank in the name of "Ethiopian Airlines Group." Any insurance or conditional guarantee shall not be accepted.
5. Bids must be submitted in separate envelopes: the original and copy of the Technical Proposal, the original and copy of the Financial Offer, and the Bid Security. An outer envelope should be used, duly marking the inner envelopes as "ORIGINAL" and "COPIES." These should be delivered to the Ethiopian Airlines Group, Strategic Sourcing Non-Technical Section by November 08, 2024, until 3:00 PM. The bid will be opened on the same date at 3:30 PM at the Ethiopian Airlines Group head office, bid opening hall, in the presence of interested bidders or their representatives.
