1. The Government of Ethiopia has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Urban Productive Safety Net and Jobs Project and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for the procurement of Industrial Construction Materials for the construction of shade, school fence, toilet, store, health center expansion (Delivery Ward)
2. Somali Regional State Awbare Woreda Finance Office now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for the Procurement of Industrial Construction Material for.
   1. Awbare shade, Abdi Kamil Awale School fence & Toilet, and Mini store
   2. Shader Health Center expansion (Delivery Ward), shade for sustainable livelihood beneficiary, shader School Fence & Toilet
3. Bidding will be conducted following the Open National tendering procedures contained in the public procurement proclamation of the Federal Government of Ethiopia and "World Bank's "Procurement Regulations" for IPF Borrowers July 2016 revised November 2017 and August 2018 ("Procurement Regulations"), setting forth the World Bank's policy on conflict of interest. and is open to all
4. eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations. Interested bidders may purchase a complete set of bidding documents prepared in English upon submitting a written application to the bidders below end upon payment of a non-refundable fee of birr 500 (Five Hundred); payment will be in cash. During working hours (8:30 am - 12:00 pm in the morning and 2:30 pm - 5:30 pm in the afternoon).
5. Bidders should submit connected technical and financial proposals enclosed in a wax-sealed envelope marked with the project title and must be delivered to the address below on or before 10/11/2024 2:00 P.M. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the bidders' designated representatives and anyone who choose to attend at the address below on 10/11/2024, 2:30 PM
6. All bidders must be accompanied by a bid security of birr 200,000 (Two hundred thousand only) in the form of the certified cheque (CPO) issued by a recognized Bank.
7. Awbare Woreda Finance Office reserves the right to accept or reject all or part of the bid
8. Bidders may obtain further information and documents may be inspected from The Address Below During Office Hours, 8:30 A.M- 12:30 a.m. and 2:00 PM -5:30 p.m. from Monthy to Friday.
