INVITATION FOR BID

The Ethiopian Engineering Corporation (EEC) invites interested bidders to participate in the tender for the Supply and Delivery of Laptop & Desktop computers.

1. Bidding will be conducted through National Competitive Bidding (NCB) specified in the Procurement Directive of the EEC and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the guidelines

2. Eligible documents are a renewed trade license for the current year, valid tax clearance, and VAT registration certificate. taxpayer identification Certificate (TIN) and registration certificate.

3. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from Procurement Team Leader, Block 1. Floor 4. Corporate Service Office-EEC. and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below during office hours from Monday to Thursday 8:00 AM to 12:30 PM and 1:30 PM 4:00 PM on Friday 8:00 AM to 11:30 AM and 1:30 PM-4:00 PM.

4. A complete set of bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Birr 200.00 (Two Hundred Birr) starting from the announcement floated on the newspaper.

5. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of amount 100,000/One hundred thousand in the form of a Cashier's payment order CPO or Unconditional Bank Guarantee letter from a local bank and must be addressed to "Ethiopian Engineering Corporation in a separate envelope, and be delivered to the address below on or before 10:00 AM on August 27, 2024. Bid security in the form of an insurance bond and letter of guarantee issued by a non-financial institution shall not be accepted,

6. Bids will be opened on August 27, 2024, at 10:30 AM in the presence of bidders representatives, who choose to attend; at the address below. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected.

7. Bidders shall be required to submit:

(a)Sealed Technical Proposal including Bid Security: one original and one copy: and also

(b) Sealed Financial Proposal: one original and one copy.

8. The EEC reserves the right to reject all or parts of the bid.
