Background:

Amref Health Africa is seeking a qualified freight transport service provider for a long-term contract agreement. The services required involve transportation of goods using Isuzu NPR and FSR model vehicles with specified carrying capacities. The contract will be based on a rate per kilometer for a single trip, from loading to unloading points, as well as a daily rate for material distribution activities.

The agreed prices will remain unchanged for one year from the commencement date of the agreement, subject to adjustment only in the event of fuel price increments. The agreement also includes a potential one-year extension based on satisfactory performance.

1. Amref Health Africa, Ethiopia office intends to invite all interested and eligible bidders by this bid invitation procurement of freight transport service provider for a long-term contract agreement

2. Bid Document with detail Term of reference & with other bid document can be obtained from Amref Health Africa Ethiopia office during office hours (Monday to Thursday 8:00AM to 5:00PM and Friday at 8:30AM to 1:00PM) up on payment of non- refundable fee of birr 150.00 (one hundred fifty birr only) by depositing to Amref health Africa Bank account: Wegagen bank /Shala branch/ Account number: 0075992910104, Account name: Amref health Africa. And bidder should present the bank advice with copy of renewed Business license.

3. 3-All firms organized and licensed under the laws of Ethiopia that qualify to bid are invited to participate in this bid can get full details of Term of reference and bid document from Amref office and have to fulfill the following requirements

a. Bidders should have a valid and renewed trade license for the year/Renewed license to be an insurer issued from National bank of Ethiopia

b. Bidders should be VAT registered only

c. Only technically qualified firms will be considered for financial evaluation

d. Financial offer currency must be in ETB (Ethiopian Birr).

e. Bidders must submit the financial and technical document in hard copy one original and one copy clearly marked "ORIGINAL" and "COPY". Each envelope shall be stamped and sealed.

All bids must accompany by a bid security in the amount of birr 10,000.00.

And the bid security must be attached in the original Technical document.

The bid bond shall be furnished in one of the following forms: - Certified Cheque/CPO issued by a recognized bank

Bond issued by and/or confirmed through a recognized/reputable bank

Bids shall be submitted on or before July 31, 2024. 10: AM in the following address. Amref Health Africa / Ethiopia office

Bid will be opened on July 31, 2024. 10:30am in the presence of bidders or their representatives.
