BGI ETHIOPIA Invitation to Tender-Cleaning Service

1 BGI Ethiopla invites potential cleaning service providers to submit proposals for comprehensive professional cleaning services at the Castel winery and Raya and Kombolcha plants, as per the scope of work and requirements outlined below

2. Potential Bidders can collect the bid document starting from July 22, 2024, at 9:00 AM-4:00 PM from BGI Ethiopia's office in Mexico, next to Tegbareid polytechnic college, Procurement Department on the 3rd floor, as well as from the HR business partners' offices at the Castel winery, Kombolcha and Raya Plants. The bid document can be collected during office hours (Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM) by presenting a copy of 200 Birr bank deposit slip with CBE bank account number 1000035299948 in the name of BGI, and a renewed Trade License in a similar field, along with a TIN Certificate and VAT registration Certificate

3. Bidders shall submit their bid proposals at the BGI Ethiopia building's Procurement Department on the 3rd floor, in the bid box, or at the HR business partners' offices in the Hawassa and Raya Plants, on or before August 06, 2024, at 4:30 PM

4. Bidders shall submit 100,000 ETB CPO or equivalent amount bank guarantee bid bond with their financial offer.

5. General requirements

i. Possession of all required and valid business licenses, permits, and registrations to legally operate as a

commercial cleaning service provider to respective sites.

ii. VAT/TIN certificate

iii. Tax clearance of the year 2016 as per Ethiopian calendar

6. Mandatory Requirements

iv. Provide a brief history of the company, including the number of years in the cleaning services business.

v. Highlight relevant experience in providing similar cleaning services, especially for commercial/institutional clients of a similar scale to BGI Ethiopia.

vi. Provide confirmed evidence of any accreditations, certifications, or awards received by the company.

vii. Demonstrate a minimum of 5 years and above of confirmed experience in the cleaning services business.

7. Disclaimer

i. This Tender invitation and its contents do not create any contractual or legal liability on BGI.

ii. Failure to meet the closing date shall result in the tender considered as void, BGI Ethiopia is under no obligation to accept any application or to award the expression of Interest to be the lowest bidder.

iii. BGI Ethiopia encourages and will give special consideration to bidders who can provide cleaning services across

multiple sites, as this demonstrates the company's capacity, efficiency, and economies of scale

iv. Failure to comply with any of the conditions from (3) to (6) above shall result in automatic rejection.

V. BGI Ethiopia pic reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, as well as to modify, change, or cancel the Tender notice in whole or in part.
