Invitation to Bidders

Tender No. ESLSE/COR/NEG/PRF/2024/01306

Ethiopian Shipping and Logistics was mistakenly advertised in the ADDIS ZEMEN newspaper with the tender number ESLSE/COR/NEG/PRF/2024/01031 for the Mille Truck Parking Rehabilitation, Road, Fence, and Workshop Construction. We are reissuing the invitation with the amended Tender No. ESLSE/COR/NEG/PRF/2024/01306 and certification of competency category GC/RC-4, we would like to extend an invitation once again to national and international interested and eligible bidders for the captioned tender, upon fulfilling the following terms and conditions.

1. Bidders who are engaged in the sector shall present a renewed trade license, trade registration certificate, VAT registration, current tax clearance certificate, TIN certificate, supplier list registration certificate, and relevant registration from the Ministry of Construction, certification of competency for category GC /RC-4 and above, for foreigner's equivalent certification from an authorized body.

2. If bidders are foreign bidders, shall present business registration certification from the country of establishment.

3. To access the tender document bidders shall register on our enterprise supplier list by using the link https://ehog.fa.em2.oraclecloud.com/fscmUI/faces/PrcPosRegisterSupplier?prcBuld=300000003585149   or register in person at Head Office 10th floor procurement department upon fulfilling trade license certificate and TIN (Taxpayer Registration Certificate) starting from the date of this announcement.

4. The bid shall be valid 60 days after the system closing date.

5. Bidder shall submit bid security in person before bid closing time at the Head Office of the enterprise's 10th-floor procurement department. The bid security amount shall be 500,000.00 (Five hundred thousand) birr. The type of acceptable bid security is an unconditional bank guarantee or cash payment order (CPO). The bid security shall be valid for twenty-eight days (28) beyond the end of the validity period of the Bid Proposal. Which shall be remained valid for 60 days + 28=88

6. To create better understanding on the bid document, ESL will hold a pre-bid conference with all bidders on the 10th date of the bid floating by the newspaper or by the next working day at the ESL head office on the 10th-floor procurement department.

7. The deadline for bid submission is the date and time of the ERP System.

8. Ethiopian Shipping & Logistics Services Enterprise reserves the right to accept or reject the bids partially or totally.
