CALL FOR EXPRESSION OF

INTEREST - AUDIT SERVICES

Ethiopian Civil Society Organizations Council (ECSOC) is established in December 2020 as a statutory apex body governed by the full participation of all CSOs operating in Ethiopia. As per Article 85 of the CSO Proclamation No.1113/2019, the Council aims to ensure the Civil Society Sector's transparency and accountability using international principles as well as national values to promote self-governance of the ongoing operation of the CSO sector. ECSOC has statutory mandates of representing & coordinating the CSO sector, enacting self-regulation advising the Authority for Civil Society Organizations (ACSO) about CSO registration & administration. Moreover, to fulfill its mandates, ECSOC plays key roles such as knowledge production & dissemination, leading advocacy efforts, promoting and protecting the civil society sector and strengthening networking and partnership among and beyond the CSO sector.

Ethiopian Civil Society Organizations Council (ECSOC) hereby invites auditing firms to submit their bids for the audit of its accounts for the year 2024.

Qualified audit firms that fulfill the following criteria are invited to participate in the bid.

REQUIREMENT:

1. The audit firm should be registered with the Accounting and Auditing Board of Ethiopia (AABE);
2.  Registered Certified Chartered Accountants & have proven experience in IPSAS audit;
3. The audit firm should provide renewed operating /business license, TIN certificate, VAT registration certificates, and other legal documents certifying qualification for performing similar assignments;
4. The audit firm should provide a certificate for payment of tax for the current period;
5. Evidence of working relationships and quality assurance mechanisms with accredited CSO audit firm (s) is plus.

DELIVERABLE:

Consolidated Audit report for all accounts with associated management letters.

Interested applicants should submit their technical and financial proposals along with their company profile within 15 days of this advertisement to the Council in a sealed envelope addressed to:
