INVITATION TO BID Supply and Installation of Solar Power Equipment Bid reference No: AFDA-12/2024

1. Action For Development (AFD), a local organization, invites interested bidders to the Supply and Installation of Solar Power Equipment directly from stock for the implementation of its project entitled "Phase III Climate Resilient WASH Project in south Ari, Ethiopia" which is being implemented in partnership with NCA.

2. Financed by: NCA.

3. The project location is found at one site in the Debub Ari woreda. Mama Kebele, Berka Town, 792kms from Addis Ababa.

4. Eligible bidders that are interested to take part in the bid, are expected to submit copies of all renewed trade license, VAT and tax payer's registration certificates.

5. Bidding will be conducted through open local tender procedure.

6. The bid document can be purchased from Action For Development (AFD) against payment of non-refundable fee of Birr 200.00 during office hours, as of the date of this notice.

8. All bids must be accompanied by a bid bond amounting 1% of the total bid amount including 15% VAT, in the form of C.P.O. or unconditional Bank guarantee. Bid bond in any other form will not be accepted.

9. All bids must be submitted, one original marked "Original" and one copy signed in the same way as the original and marked "Copy" by stating the contract title - Supply and Installation of solar Power Equipment Bid Ref. No -AFDA-12/2024, with sealed envelope at or before 2:00 P.M on 5th August 2024. The technical and financial offers must be placed together in a sealed envelope.

10. Bids will be opened in the presence of bidders and/or their official representatives who wish to attend, at 2:30 P.M on 5th August, 2024.

11. Failure to comply with any of the conditions indicated above will

result in automatic rejection.

12. The Organization reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids.
