INVITATION TO BID

AID for Integrated Development (AID) is a nationally recognized non-governmental organization dedicated to assisting and strengthening the capacities of vulnerable communities to achieve sustainable development. We focus on implementing robust interventions in areas such as WASH, education, health and nutrition, livelihood and food security, and addressing cross-cutting issues including gender equality, protection, and climate change adaptation. Aid for Integrated Development (AID) wants to rent various types of field vehicles for the implementation of its different projects.

This invitation is therefore to secure competent vehicle rental service provider(s) for the providing of field vehicles and willing to make a framework agreement for the period of one year from January 5th, 2024, up to January 4th, 2025, as per the following descriptions.

Description of vehicles

1. Land cruiser hardtop 4WD,4.164CC, Diesel engine, 6 cylinders, 3 doors, 13 seats (one row in front and 5x5 facing each other) including seat belts for all seats, 5-speed manual transmission, ABS brakes, including power steering and air conditioner(non-CFC) and high-altitude compensator, manufacturing year, 2009 and above.

2. Land cruiser hardtop 4WD,4.164CC, Diesel engine, 6 cylinders, 5 doors, 10 seats including seat belts for all seats, 5-speed manual transmission, including power steering and air conditioner(non-CFC) ABS brakes, manufacturing year, 2009 and above.

3. Land cruiser Double cabin pickup, 4WD,4.164CC, Diesel engine, 6 cylinders, 4 doors, 6 seats 5-speed manual transmission, including air conditioner (non-CFC), manufacturing year, 2009 and above.

Interested suppliers qualified and legally registered in Ethiopia for providing vehicle rental service and have valid trading licenses, meet their taxi obligations can send their quotation to AID as per the following physical address.

The tendering is from December 15, 2023- December 29th, 2023.

The deadline for picking the tender documents is December 28th, 2023, 3:30 pm and submission of tender is September 30th, 2023, 10:00AM.

Bids shall be opened at the AID Jigjiga office on 30th September 2023, 3:30 PM in the presence of tenders who may wish to attend.

The aid for Integrated Development reserves the right to reject the whole or part of any or all Tender.

NB: Both the receiving of the document and the submission can be obtained from the Jigjiga office.
