BID INVITATION FOR AUDIT SERVICE 

Menschenfuer Menschen Foundation (MFM) is an International Humanitarian Non-profit Charity Organization operating in various parts of the country for the last 42 years. The organization runs aholistic approach of Integrated Rural Development with the intention of providing help for self-development in the rural Ethiopia. Major areas of concern are: Agriculture (Environment protection, crop production, livestock development, irrigation schemes), Rural Water Supply (Construction of hand dug wells, spring developments, shallow well drilling, rural town water supply); Human inDevelopment (capacity building,Home Economics, prevention of Harmful Traditional practices, skill training); Health (Primary Health Care, treatment of eye disease, Development and capacity buildingsof Health Institutions & supply of medical equipment and furniture, HIV/AIDS Prevention & Control Programs, Family planning and Reproductive Health Programs); Education (Construction andimprovement of schools, Technical and Vocational Education centres and furnishing the schools, provision of reference books, TVET machineries; Infrastructure (building access roads, small bridges), job creations for women and youths, and relief response operations.

Currently projects are being executed in Oromia, Amhara, South and Somali regional states (Full details of projects with their respective locations shall be shown on the Audit bid document)

The foundation has allocated an aggregate budget of Euro 13,095,000.00 (About Birr 785,700,000) for executing planned operations in this operational period. The foundation year end is 31 December 2024.

Proclamation 847/2014 article 5 prescribes that the applicable reporting standards for all charitable organization for preparing their financial statements to be IPSAS (International Public SectorAccounting Standards and the foundation uses IPSAS as a basis of reporting standard since 2022 as prescribed by the Accounting and Auditing Board of Ethiopia (AABE).

Therefore, MFM invites experienced, qualified and authorized auditors to come to MFM project coordination office and buy the bid document (ToR, Price quotation sheet) by paying non-returnablebirr 500(Five Hundred) and, make your assessment for quotation, and submit your technical documents and financial quotations on the format prepared by MFM for the purpose in separate & sealed envelopes within 10 working days after this advertisement is issued on newspaper.

The basis for evaluation shall be based on both technical and financial evaluation requirements expressed in detail on the bid document to be collected by the potential bidder from the Foundation coordination office (PCO) located at Bole Bulbula 93 Mazoria (Around Asser Construction Batching Plant). The bid documents shall be submitted within 10 working days after the date the bid is floated on the newspaper. The bid shall be closed at 2:00 PM on the last valid bid submission day and opened at 2:30 of same day in the presence of bidders who wishes to attend.
