Procurement of Design, Manufacture, supply of 15kV & 33kV Power cable and cable termination kits

1. Ethiopian Electric Power has a budget to be used for the procurement of Design, Manufacture, supply of 15kV & 33kV Power cable and cable termination kits through International competitive bidding (ICB).

2. The Ethiopian Electric Power (EEP) now invites eligible bidders for the procurement of Design, Manufacture, supply of 15kV & 33kV Power cable and cable termination kits.

3. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the Bidding Documents at the office Ethiopian Electric Power Head Office during office hours 8:00 AM up to 5:00 PM from Monday to Friday at the address given below Attention: Kefyalew Mergiya Procurement Director Telephone: +251-1115580597/1916, Electronic mail address: kmergiya@ yahoo.com Addis Ababa, Ethiopia

4. A complete set of Bidding Documents may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application letter to the below address and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Birr 5,000.00 (Five Thousand Birr) or its equivalent in a freely convertible currency. The method of payment shall be in cash or cashier's check or through telegraphic transfer to EEP Transmission Construction A/C No. 1000252665203, Commercial Bank of Ethiopia (CBE), Arada Giorgis Branch and EEP BUMBUNA HPP A/C No. 0101181300051, NATIONAL BANK OF ETHIOPIA (NBE), Swift Code: NBETETAA, for ETB and USD respectively.

5. Bids must be delivered to the above mentioned address on or before 2:00PM Local Time on (Addis Ababa) August 5, 2024 and must be accompanied by a bid security amount for USD 30,000 (Thirty Thousand USD).

6. Bids will be opened in public and in the presence of bidders' representatives who choose to attend at 2:00PM Local Time on (Addis Ababa) August 5, 2024 at the offices of Ethiopian Electric Power Head Office- in front of Kotebe metal tools factory, yeka Sub city woreda 9 (former kotebe 02) Ethiopian electric Power Head office compound'
