1. The Federal Government of Ethiopia has received a credit from the international Development association (IDA) toward the cost of Ethiopia Electrification program (ELEAP) and it intends to apply part of the proceed of this credit to payment under contact procurement of Personal Protective Equipment (Re- 6. Bid).
2. Tendering will be conducted thought international competitive Bidding (ICB) and is open to all eligible Bidders. The Ethiopian Electric Utility (EEU) now invited sealed bids from eligible bidders for the supply of Personal protective Equipment.
3. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information and inspect bidding documents during office hours at the address given below (i.e, from Monday -Thursday 8:00-12:00to 13:00-17:00 hours and Friday 8:00-11:30 to 13:30- 17:00 hours and Saturday 08:00 to 17:00 hours) at the address given below.

4. The method of payment will be cash payment at PPMO cashier's check or deposited to the Ethiopian Electric Utility accounts: EEU-Electrification Program Foreign Currency. Ar No. 0101181300064 with National Bank of Ethiopia, for foreign currencies,jór deposited to the Ethiopian Electric Utility accounts: EEU-WEAR Account No 2.: 1000604742556, Commercial Bank of Ethiopia (CBE), Mehteme Gandi branch, for the local account.

5. A Complete set of the Bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested Bidders from the Addresses above upon payment of a nono-refundable fee of birr 800.00 (Eight Hundred Birr only) or its equivalent of USD 40 (Forty USD) or its equivalent in a freely convertible currency starting from June 21,2024. 6. Bids must be delivered to the address above on or before August 4, 2024. Local time 14:00 PM Electronic Bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders representatives who choose to attend in person. 7. Al Bids must be accompanies by a bid security and it shall be unconditional Bank guarantee from a reputable bank and must be counter guaranteed by any bank operating in Ethiopia and it remains valid for a period of Twenty eight (28) days beyond the original bid validity ;period that will be (120+28) days i.e, December 29,2024 The amount and currency of the bids security USD 5,000.00 (United states Dollar Five, Thousand only) Alternative the amount and currency of the bid security can be equivalent in a freely convertible currency of ETB.

8. The Ethiopia Electric Utility-reserves the right to reject all or part of this bid.
