Contract title:-Construction Works for Rehabilitation of remaining works of Holeta Bull-dam Farm 

(RFB No. ET-MOLF-385733-CW-RFB)

1. The FDRE Ministry of Agriculture has received financing from the World Bank towards the cost of the Livestock and Fisheries Sector Development Project, and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the Procurement of works for Rehabilitation of remaining works of Holeta Bull- dam Farm.
2. The Ministry of Agriculture now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for the Procurement of works for Rehabilitation of remaining works of Holeta Bull-dam Farm. The invitation is open for contractors under category of BC-5/ GC-6 and above, who have registered with the relevant government offices in Ethiopia and renewed their license for the current year.
3. Bidding will be conducted through national competitive bidding procedure as specified in the World Bank's "Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers: Procurement of Works under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits & Grants by World Bank Borrowers dated July 2016 and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined 8 in the Procurement Regulations.
4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from Ministry of Agriculture, Procurement Directorate and inspect the bidding documents during office hours at the address below during office hours: from 09:00 AM to 12:30 A.M hours and from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM hours, Mondays to Thursdays and 09:00 A.M to 11:30 A.M and 2:00 PM to 5:00 P.M hours on Fridays.
5. The bidding document in English language may be purchased by interested eligible bidders up on payment of a non-refundable fee of Ethiopian Birr 300.00 (Three Hundred Birt) or its equivalent amount in freely convertible currencies. The method of payment will be in cash or can directly deposit to the MoA's account No. 1000009144009. Bidders who wish to have the bidding document delivered to their address by a courier service pay an additional amount of ETB 1,000.00 or equivalent amount in a freely convertible currency for courier service charge or send a prepaid courier service coupon to the purchaser address below. However, the purchaser shall not be responsible for a loss or delay in the delivery of the mail and shall not entertain requests for extension on account of such delays.
6. Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before July 9, 2024@ 2:00 P.M. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who choose to attend at the address below on July 9,2024 @ 2:30 P.M.
7. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security amounting as per stated in the bidding document. Total amount of bid security could be Birr 300,000.00 (Three Hundred Thousand Birr) or its equivalent in an easily convertible currency. Bid Security must be in the form of either CPO or Bank Guarantee from a recognized local Banks or in Cash and it must be counter guaranteed by local firms for foreign bank guarantees. Insurance Bond and bid security declaration is not acceptable, The Bid security shall be attached with or in the original bid proposal's envelop
8. Attention is drawn to the procurement Regulations requiring the Borrower to disclose information on the successful bidder’s beneficial ownership, as part of the Contract Award Notice, using the Beneficial Ownership Disclosure Form as included in the bidding document
