Project Description:

The main purpose pump oplyin borehole (depth: depth: approx. 100m) is water using solar power, enabling farmers fromgofung the dry unity to continue their mmun itang woreda. Borehole drilling Specifications:

• Estimated depth: Approx. 100m
• Utilization: Pumping water using solar power for irrigation purposes (Solar powered pumping Scheme)
• Coverage: 1ha of farmland

Procedure for Bidding:

• It is obligatory that the bidder should be legally established and registered in Ethiopia. The registration should be renewed for the budget year.
• The bidder must be Grade 3 and above renewed license holder for Water Works Construction
• .Partial bidding will not be acceptable
• The bidders should include all the list of items and installation board specified in the ToR
• Applicants should provide a technical offer in a separate sealed postal envelope.
• The bids must be accompanied by a Bid security of 2% of the total estimated contract price in the form of CPO (certified payable Order) or an Unconditional Bank Guarantee.
• Tenders submitted after the deadline will be automatically rejected.
• The bidder must consent to a due diligence assessment of independent expert assigned by ADRA Ethiopia.
• The winner should supply and transport deploy the material and toolkits at ADRA Ethiopia coordination office, Addis Ababa.
• The winner should provide brief orientation for the members of the Water User Association and local administration for safety. operation and maintenance of the bore hole.
