1. Amhara National Regional State Irrigation and Low Land Areas Development Bureau through the Government of Ethiopia has received finance from the World Bank IBRD//IDA for the Food System Resilience Program/FSRP/ and intends to apply parts of the funds for eligible payments under the contract for which this invitation is issued.

2. The Amhara National Regional State Irrigation and Low Land Area Development Bureau now invite eligible bidders who have work licenses in water works construction for the construction of Three Small Scale Irrigation Projects.

3. Bidding of WWC-6 and above are eligible to participate.

4. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from ANRS 

Irrigation and Low Land Area Development Bureau, (Irrigation Schemes Construction Input Supply Directorate) Ato Adane Alkadir E-mail: adanealkadir@gmail.com and inspect the bidding document during office hours from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM Monday to Friday at the address given below.

5. A complete set of bidding documents in English may be purchased directly from the ANRS Irrigation and Low Land Areas Development Bureau, Irrigation Schemes Construction Input Supply Directorate, 3rd floor room finance directorate upon payment of a non-refundable fee Birr 1000/ One Thousand Birr/. The method of payment will be in cash.

6. Bids must be delivered to ANRS Irrigation and Lowland Areas Development Bureau, Irrigation Schemes Construction Input Supply Directorate, 3rd floor mini hall Bahir Dar, before 10:00 A.M June 18, 2024, G.C; and Bids shall be opened at 10:00 A.M on the same date in the presence of the bidders or their legal representatives who wish to attend. If the bid opening date is Holiday, opening date will be the next working day. Electronic Bidding shall not be permitted. Late Bids shall be rejected.

7. All Bids must be accompanied by the amount of bid security as stated in the table above in the form of Unconditional Bank Guarantee or CPO and shall remain valid for a period of 90 days +28 days. Insurance bond is not

acceptable.

8. Bidders are required to submit copies of all eligible documents and licenses which are renewed for the year 2023/2024 G.C

9. The Bureau reserves the right to accept or reject all or part of the bid.
