Re Invitation for retaining Construction

The Sidama Roads Authority allocated sufficient budget towards the cost of the construction of Logita Retaining wall project:

1. Interested bidders shall submit the following evidence:

I. Certificate of registration from Ministry of Urban Development and Construction Bureau with Category Renewed for the current budget year and other appropriate documentary evidences demonstrating the bidder's compliance, which shall include:

II. Renewed Business License.

Ⅲ. Renewed Commercial Registration Certificate.

IV. Renewed Construction Competency Certificate from the Ministry of Ur- ban Development and Construction

V. VAT Registration Certificate

VI. Taxpayer registration certificate

VIL Renewed Permission certificate for bidding from legal authorities for the current budget year.

VIIL Evidence of/Being/ registered supplier under public procurement and property Administration Agency (PPPAA).

Bidders shall submit three envelopes, "Qualification information" (one Original sealed separately and each two copies sealed separately, then finally sealed with one outer envelope), "Bid Security" and "Financial Bid" (one Original sealed sepa- rately and each two copies sealed separately, then finally sealed with one outer

envelope) and finally three envelopes should be sealed in one an outer envelope. 3. Evaluation is to be carried out in two stages, Qualification information first and Financial Bids of qualified bidders at the second.

4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the bid- ding the address given below from 8:30 to 12:30 a.m. and 1:30 to 5:30 pm from Monday to Thursdays and 8:30 a.m and 1:30 p.m to 5:30 P.M on Friday’s

5. A complete set of bidding documents prepared in English language may be purchased by interested

bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of ETB 1000 for each, during working hours of 20 successive calendar days starting from the first date of notification of this advertisement on Ethiopian Herald. The final submission date and opening of proposal will be on the 21" date of this announcement on the Ethiopian herald at 2:00PM & 2:30 PM respectively. If the 21" date is not a working day it will be on the next working days at the same time.

6. Bids must be delivered to the below address on or before 2:00 p.m. of the above said

date. Bids must be accompanied by a bid security of ETB 500,000 (Five Hundred

thousand birr only) and late bids will be rejected.

7. Any contractor who has one or more works with our office and hasn't accomplished more than or equal to 75% of the work, or who has no recommendation letter from our office until the closing date of this bid, will not participate in this bid.

8. Any eligible bidder can participate on this project.

9. Sidama Roads Authority reserves the right to accept or reject part or all of the bid- ding process.
