 Wolle University kombolcha institute of technology invites all interested

and eligible constrictions bidders by this national competitive bid/NCB/

for the construction of the following projects

 Lot 1 Construction of remaining works for store, maintenance of workshop and Mechatronics lab, and administration block floor finishing at KIoT.

1. The bidders must present renewed relevant and legal trade license/ must indicating directly the stream of construction work business in which they are engaged, trade registration certificate, VAT certificate, Tin number certificate, tax clearance form /indicating to participate in the bid, e-GP certificate list /it must indicate the stream of the business in which they are engaged and must meet directly for the required works to be procured.

2. Bidders shall purchase a complete set of bid documents which can be obtained against of nonrefundable fee of birr 500.00 /five hundred birr/ only for cash from procurement and supply management team office at wollo university kombolcha institute of technology administrative building on second floor in room 302 at kombolcha during normal working days and office hours.

3. The bid should be accompanied by bid security of ETB 250,000.00 /two hundred fifty thousand birr/ only or its equivalent in an easily convertible currency in the form of certified c.p.o or bank guarantee only and shall remain valid for 120 days. These two methodologies of bid security are applicable.

4. Eligible bidders are expected to go through the bidding document and

submit the original and copy of the technical and financial proposal in a separate wax sealed envelopes to the tender box prepared for this purpose at wollo university kombolcha institute of technology procurement and supply management team office.

5. Eligible bidders must require grade of construction BC/GC 6 and above can be participated.

6. The eligible and interested bidders can purchase the bid document within

21 days /twenty one consecutive calendar days/ from posted on Ethiopian Herald Newspaper.

7. Bidders shall deliver their bid documents to the address mentioned below before the bids closing time. The bids will be closed at the 22 calendar day from the first announcement date of the bid on Ethiopian herald newspaper at 10-00am /local time in the morning/ and it will be opened at the same day at 10:30am /local time in the morning/

 8. If the 22 calendar day from the first announcement date of the bids on

Ethiopian herald newspaper is not working day, it will be closed on the next working day at 10:00am /local time in the morning/ and it will be opened at the same day at 10:30am /local time in the morning. In this case also, bidders shall deliver their bid documents to the address mentioned below before the bid closing time.

9. The technology institute shall not consider any bid that arrives after the deadline time for submission of bid.

10. The bid will be opened in the presence of bidders or their delegated representatives who choose to attend the opening ceremony. The opening of the bid shall not be affected by the absence of the bidders on their own will.

11. The technology institute reserves the right to reject the bid partially or fully.

 12. The bid must be valid for 90 days.

13. Bidders should be free from bans concerning supplying materials or any contract of construction works from Wollo University, and other government and nongovernment organizations.

14. The bidders must return back the bid document in technology institute.
