INVITATION FOR BID For the Purchase of Medical supplies IFB No. CST/IA/EFI-01-2024

CST Ethiopia

CST Ethiopia represents the overseas development and humanitarian agencies of the Catholic Church from England and Wales (CAFOD), Scotland (SCIAF), and Ireland (Trócaire) in Ethiopia. The three agencies have over 40 years of experience in international development and humanitarian response and are each member of worldwide networks, including Caritas Internationalis. Currently, the three agencies jointly operate a single, integrated country programmer in Ethiopia through the legal entity CST Ethiopia.

1. CST Ethiopia is implementing emergency projects in Tigray and hereby soliciting the competitive bid for the above-mentioned project as a lead organization.

2. Bidding will be conducted through the International Competitive Bidding Procedures based on EU Procurement Guidelines and is open to all potential suppliers (Registered by EFDA, MOFED for domestic suppliers and local agents of foreign suppliers, and eligible foreign supplier from EU countries).

3. Bidders should submit renewed license for the current year, VAT certificate and Taxpayer Identification number (TIN).

4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents at our office address located in Kirkos Sub city, Woreda 3. 5. A complete set of bidding documents prepared in English language it can be collected in person and through email by interested eligible bidder from the date of this announcement by the submission of a written application to the address at free.

6. Bids must be sealed and delivered to the address above on 10th consecutive day from bid opening. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of 2% of the bid price and in CPO (Customer payment order) or in equivalent amount in a freely convertible currency to our cashier. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders'/representatives who choose to attend and date of opening will be announced through email.

7. CST reserves the right to accept or reject any Bid at any time prior to award of the contract without giving any reason thereof.
