The Ethiopian Government has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Urban productive safety Net project, and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for procurement of personal safety and protection materials.

Bidding will be conducted through National Competitive Bidding procedures as Specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulation for IPF Borrowers procurement of Goods, Works and Non-Consulting services under IBRD Loans and IDA credits & Grants by World Bank Borrowers (“procurement Regulation”), and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in The procurement Guidelines.
3. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from Asella City Administration Finance office near AAsella branch Ethiopian Electric utility Department of procurement and property administration and inspect the bidding documents during office hours from 8:30AM- 5:30PM (local time) at the address given below.
4. A complete set of bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested eligible Bidders upon payment of a nonorefundable fee of 200.00 birr. The method of payment will be deposit in CBE Account No 1000022706261(Asella Ketam liyu woreda genzebina Eco/Limat/tsi/bet.)
5. Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 1-march 2024 at 2:00PM (Local Time)and will be open the same day at 2:30PM (Local Time) on 30^th calendar Days from Announcement of the Ethiopian Herald. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the bidders designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below at the end of this invitation and also bidders should submit sealed bid documents containing on original and two copies.

All bids must be accompanied by a “Bid Security” CPO or unconditional Guarntee issued by a Bank for Lot 1, 47,500 Birr Lot 2-18,700.00 Birr/ and Lot 3 18,500.00 Birr Totally for Lot 1,2 & 3 are=84,700.00 /Eight four thousand seven hundregetd birr only/ from a reputable Bank prepared in the name of Asella City Administration Finance office.
